‘Our Inside Voices’ is a collection of poetry and prose by Queensland writers, gathered in the wake of the many changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic––cultural changes, economic changes, social changes.
The pandemic is a medical and public health phenomenon, of course, but it also presents us with creative, emotional, and intellectual challenges.
This book is our response to some of the changes and challenges thrown up by the pandemic. It is an expressive opportunity for writers, as well as a business opportunity for local small enterprises including printers, bookshops, and us.
Featuring essays, memoirs, poems, and short stories by more than fifty writers, including Andrea Baldwin, Nick Earls, Raymond Evans, Pat Hoffie, Angelina Hurley, Toni Risson, Murad Talukdar, Warren Ward, Samuel Wagan Watson & Jessica White.
Edited by Caroline Gardam, Louise Martin-Chew, Edwina Shaw & Nathan Shepherdson.
