Many people with good drawing skills are still unsure about perspective. This workshop will be in depth explanation of perspective to give confidence to identify the horizon line and vanishing points, both single and double. We will also look and understand how scenes with multiple vanishing points can be realised. We will look at various shapes rectangles octagons, circles in both horizontal plane and vertical planes to show how the varying elements if floors, roofs and walls of buildings represented in perspective.
In this workshop you will:
Develop skills in the principles, identifying the eye line vanishing points
Understanding shapes in perspective, rectilinear, octagonal and circular forms vertically and horizontally
Understanding building forms in perspective for walls, window and window reveals, roof forms as well as how buildings sit on sloping streets
Understanding perspective for more complex shapes such as curves, arches and octagons
